If youโ€™re a fan of camping in the great outdoors, youโ€™ll love this Timber Ridge 6-Person Glamping Tent. Itโ€™s a 6-person instant tent designed with ample interior space and plenty of comfort features that make it perfect for various outdoor activities.

Shaped like an iconic glamping bell tent, this model of cabin tent is perfect for a romantic getaway, family weekend retreat, or wherever your next outdoor adventure takes you.

But is this tent worthy of the title of the best 6 person tent? We seem to think so.

We purchased this tent this past summer and took it out for a weekend trip. It did a pretty solid job of keeping us warm and dry, even when it rained. With about 100 square feet of internal space, our family was able to stretch out and sleep comfortably in this glamorous double wall tent. To say the least, we were impressed with the ample storage space. Overall, itโ€™s one of the best camping tents weโ€™ve tried.

With that, weโ€™re going to discuss the Timber Ridge 6 Person Glamping Tent and give you a holistic review.

How we review tents and other products.

We consider several factors when we review products, whether a tent, sleeping bag, orย other camping equipment. After all, if youโ€™re searching tents for sale, you want to know that youโ€™re getting a good tent โ€“ if not one of the best 6 person luxury camping tents.

  • Overall design. We like to evaluate the overall design and construction of a product and its features. We look for durability, functionality, weatherproofing, comfortability, and ease of setup.
  • Take a look at the features. While the overall design is essential, we also consider the productโ€™s features. These can include pockets for storage, adjustable steel poles for height and ventilation, ample interior space for sleeping or storage, and even a built-in rainfly.
  • Compare user reviews. Something we do that is unique is to compare user reviews from different sources. We consider the opinions of other campers who have used the product and expert reviews from camping experts.
  • Price and value. We want to ensure that a product provides good value for the price. We consider both the cost of the product and its features to determine if itโ€™s a good deal. We also compare it to other products in the same price range.
  • Our final verdict. After considering all these factors, we come up with our final verdict on each product. We give our honest opinion as to whether or not we believe itโ€™s a good choice for campers.

Well designed and durable.

For the overall design of this glamping tent, itโ€™s well made and durable.

It has a sturdy steel frame (although the corner poles are fiberglass which we assume is to save on weight), reinforced corners, a reinforced door with two way zippers, a rugged PE floor, and thick polyester canvas walls that are waterproof and UV-resistant. The tent also uses an adjustable steel pole system for height adjustment.

In fact, itโ€™s one of the better and more durable double wall tents weโ€™ve seen. It definitely beats out any of the single wall tents when youโ€™re winter camping as it can handle heavy snow loads compared to other four season tents.

Itโ€™s a decent-sized tent that measures up to 10 feet wide by 10 feet long and over 8 feet tall. So it goes without saying that the Timber Ridge 6-Person Glamping Tent provides ample interior space, perfect for camping trips with friends or family.

Features galore!

This big tent includes many features that are sure to make your camping experience enjoyable. Of course, weโ€™re all about glamping, so the more comfortable you are in your bell tent, the better.

Mesh screen windows with plenty of ventilation.

Weโ€™ll start with the ventilation. The tent includes mesh windows that can be opened or closed to keep bugs out while allowing plenty of airflow. There are also four ground vents and two peak vents that allow even more air circulation. Of course, these all have rain covers that can all be closed for when itโ€™s a bit cooler out, but on hot days this is perfect.

Two organizer pockets.

Gone are the days of just camping with a sleeping bag and a few snacks. We like to bring it all and camp in comfort and style these days. This includes everything from Bluetooth speakers to phones, books, and more.

With the Timber Ridge 6-Person Glamping Tent, you get two organizer pockets for storing things like phones and keys. This nice touch helps keep your items secure and organized in your 6 person glamping tent.

There is also an attachable tablet pocket that hangs from the center of the tent, so you can keep your electronics safe and close by.

Convenient power cord access.

When we go glamping, we like having all our modern comforts, including power. This tent has a convenient access hole to run your power cord through so you can have lights and other electronics without worrying about rain coming in.

Whether youโ€™re running a generator or simply connecting to shore power at a campsite, youโ€™ll be able to keep all your devices charged.

Hanging hook accessory.

While lighting is not built into the tent, it does have a hook for hanging a lantern or light from the middle of the interior. This is great for nighttime illumination that wonโ€™t take up extra space in your glamping tent. Youโ€™ll even be able to run the power for the light through the convenient power cord access we discussed earlier.

What others are saying about this tent.

So, we realized that this tent definitely has the bells and whistles youโ€™d expect from a glamping tent, but what do others have to say? Of course when youโ€™re looking at camping tents for sale, you have to check out what others are saying, so thatโ€™s what we did.

Campers who have tried out this tent love the amount of floor space it provides and appreciate its durability in bad weather. They also praise its overall design, noting that it looks great inside and out. So, overall, users are saying itโ€™s a nice tent.

On Samโ€™s Club the overall rating is 4.6 stars out of 5, so not bad at all. At Cabelaโ€™s, customers praised the tent giving it 4.1 stars with 22 of them being 5 stars. Thatโ€™s not too bad for a luxury camping tent, especially since most reviews are inherently negative.

Overall, everyone seems to agree that the Timber Ridge 6-Person Glamping Tent is a great choice for campers looking for comfort, style, and convenience while out in the wilderness.

How does it stack up to other tents?

This is the interior of the luxury tent with the groundsheet, center pole, windows, and ground vents.

Weโ€™ve used countless tents over the years. Some of these range from the most basic and inexpensive to luxury glamping tents.

We love that the Timber Ridge 6-Person Glamping Tent combines all the best features from both worlds. Itโ€™s well-designed, has plenty of space for up to six people, and has excellent extras like organizer pockets and power cord access.

It also appears to be extremely durable. For example, the floor material looks as if itโ€™ll hold up to rocks. Again, another critical factor when youโ€™re looking at camping tents for sale. This is also a feature we donโ€™t see too often sidh luxury camping tents. We usually see canvas tears pretty easily but thatโ€™s not the case here.

However, it brings the ease and convenience of a traditional tent to a luxurious glamping tent experience. Whether you want a tent with it all or just want a bit of luxury while camping, this tent is an excellent choice.

Final verdict: Is this bell tent for you?

Think of this tent as a glamping tent for those on the go. For those that like to take their outdoor adventure off of the beaten path but still want all of the luxuries such as peak vents, rain covers, an attachable tablet pocket, and other excellent mountaineering tent features.

If you fit that description, then the Timber Ridge 6-Person Glamping Tent is definitely the tent for you.

Keep in mind, however, itโ€™s not one of the clearance tents as itโ€™s not a cheap tent. Sure, itโ€™s not as expensive as the Treeline Tent, but itโ€™s still pricy compared to some on the market.

With its generous size and luxurious features, youโ€™ll be able to experience the outdoors in comfort and style. Plus, with a 4.6-star rating from Samโ€™s Club and 4.1 stars from Cabelaโ€™s, you know this tent will keep up with your glamping adventures, and you donโ€™t need to just take our word for it.
