Update: This was three of our favorite camp craft cocktails, but we’ve added one more to make it four. We tried the last one on a recent glamping trip and just couldn’t leave it out of the list.
If you’re looking to add a little excitement to your next camping trip, then you’ll want to try one (or all!) of these camp craft cocktails. Whether you’re s’mores-ing by the fire or enjoying a beautiful sunset, these drinks will definitely add some extra flavor to your trip.
We took some of our favorite classic cocktails for these three adult beverages and adapted them to be camp-friendly. We wanted drinks that were flavorful but not too complicated and could be easily made with easy-to-find and transport ingredients.
While these camp craft beverages are alcohol-based, you can change them up for your own zero proof recipe.
Of course, you can modify these camp craft cocktails to your own taste, but we think they’re perfect just the way they are. So sit back, relax, and enjoy a little taste of luxury while you camp or glamp in style.
So what exactly is a camp craft cocktail?
They’re just like regular cocktails but made with ingredients that are easy to find while camping. They’re also usually made in small batches and often times with sparkling water (when possible) so you don’t have to worry about lugging a bunch of liquor bottles into the woods.
Of course, you can always pack up your favorite beers or bottles of wine, but sometimes it’s fun to have a concoction that is made specifically for your camping trip. You want to feel a little special when you’re under the stars. Well, these cocktails will do just that. Whether you’re sipping on your s’more martini or a sunset spritz, you’ll feel great.
Isn’t that what glamping is about?
Without further ado, here are four of our favorite camp craft cocktails for you to try on your next trip.
The Classic S’more Martini

This is one of our favorite camp craft cocktails because it’s so easy to make and only requires a few ingredients. Plus, it tastes just like a classic s’more! It’s like sitting by a campfire but in drink form. And, it’s super easy to make and one of the most unique drinks you’ll ever find.
Who doesn’t like that?
Your friends will surely be impressed when you whip this one out in a glass jar on your next camping trip.
Ingredients—
- 2oz marshmallow vodka
- 1oz chocolate liqueur
- 1oz graham cracker crumbs
- Marshmallows for garnish
Directions—
- Rim a martini glass (or mason jar) with graham cracker crumbs.
- Combine marshmallow vodka, chocolate liqueur, and graham cracker crumbs in a shaker filled with ice.
- Shake well and strain into the prepared glass.
- Garnish with marshmallows, and enjoy!
The Sunset Spritz

When you want to enjoy a beautiful sunset with one of the best camp craft cocktails in hand, this is the drink for you. It’s refreshing, citrusy, and has just the right amount of sweetness. Plus, it’s pretty to look at too.
Ingredients—
– 1oz Aperol
– 3oz Prosecco
– 1 blood orange, sliced thin for garnish
– Club soda
Directions—
- Combine Aperol, Prosecco, and club soda in a wine glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with a slice of blood orange, and enjoy!
The Smokey Old Fashioned

Of course, we had to include a camp craft cocktail perfect for sipping by the fire.
This Smokey Old Fashioned is made with smoked whiskey, so it has a unique flavor you’re sure to love. It’s also a great option if you’re looking for something more substantial.
For the zero proof recipe, simply replace the smoked bourbon with ArKay’s alcohol free bourbon.
Ingredients—
- 2oz Smoked Bourbon
- 1oz Campfire syrup*
- Two dashes of bitters
- Orange peel for garnish
Directions—
- In a rocks glass filled with ice, combine bourbon, Campfire syrup, and bitters.
- Garnish with an orange peel, and enjoy!
*Campfire syrup is simply equal parts water and sugar simmered over a campfire until dissolved. Allow cooling before using. You can usually just mix hot water and sugar and stir for 2 minutes.
Peppermint Bark Martini

We absolutely love camping in the winter – especially around the holiday season. Sure, it’s not for everyone, but for those that haven’t tried it, you need to give it a go.
However, during this time of year the perfect drink to celebrate the season is the peppermint bark martini.
Ingredients—
- RumChata
- Peppermint Schnapps
- White Creme de Cacao
- Heavy whipping cream (half and half can be a suitable alternative)
- White chocolate chips (or even cacao nibs) and peppermint candy (or candy canes) for garnish
Directions—
- Crush the peppermint candy in a bag.
- Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave (or over a campfire).
- Dip the rim of the martini glass in the melted chocolate then the crushed peppermint.
- Pour the RumChata, Peppermint Schnapps, White Ceme de Cacao, whipping cream, and ice into a mason jar and shake it up well.
- Top off your martini glass and enjoy!
This peppermint bark recipe is great for the holidays or really any time you’re doing some cold weather camping. The blend of the various liquors make for a very warm feeling. Unfortunately, we don’t think you can make a non-alcoholic version of this drink as we can’t seem to find zero proof RumChata anywhere.
Ready to make camp craft cocktails?
We hope you enjoy these camp craft cocktails on your next camping trip. Mix and match them to create your own perfect camp cocktail menu, or just stick with our favorites. There are even infusion kits you can purchase to help you get started with your own cocktails.
Remember to drink responsibly and always have a designated driver if you plan on indulging. That’s one reason why we like drinking and camping so much. There’s no need to drive anywhere. However, you can always modify these to create your own zero proof recipe.
Cheers!
