If youโ€™re looking for a unique glamping experience, look no further than the glamping domes in Smoky Mountains! These luxurious domes offer all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, and with their prime location in the smoky mountains, youโ€™ll be surrounded by natureโ€™s beauty.

Whether youโ€™re looking to get away from it all or spend some time reconnecting with nature, these glamping domes are a perfect choice. We think youโ€™ll love the glamourous camping near Gatlinburg.

We stayed at one of the domes at a glamorous camp in the great smoky mountains a few months ago, and it was fantastic. The Smoky Mountains glamping dome was spacious and had just about everything we needed (except a bathroom, but more later). We loved sitting outside on the deck and taking in the stunning views of the mountains on their 140-acre property.

Sure, there are other places with luxury tents and canvas glamping tents, but when we heard about this glamorous camp in Gatlinburg, we just had to go.

Located in the Great Smoky Mountains

When you want to get away from it all, glamping domes in the Smoky Mountains are a perfect choice! Thereโ€™s really no way to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, like spending some time in nature. And what could be more magical than waking up to views of the mountains, forests, and beautiful Tennessee sky?

Located approximately 15 minutes from the nearest town, Cosby, TN, these glamping domes are off the beaten path but still close enough to enjoy all the area has to offer. If youโ€™re looking for some hiking trails, the Cosby entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is just a short drive away. Or if youโ€™re craving some time in a more urban environment, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are about an hourโ€™s drive for a fun afternoon or evening out.

But the real draw of these glamping domes is the unique opportunity to spend some time in nature without sacrificing any creature comforts youโ€™re used to.

Drive through the Smoky Mountains during the Fall
The drive through the Smoky Mountains was absolutely incredible.

Getting away has never been easier.

The cutest glamping domes youโ€™ll find.

These domes arenโ€™t part of a resort or campground but are offered as individual domes that can be rented out for a unique glamping experience. Each Smoky Mountains glamping dome has its own private porch, picnic table, and a fire pit for roasting sโ€™mores or hot dogs.

To take it a step further, the hosts even provide complimentary firewood and complimentary sโ€™mores, which is pretty generous for any host.

The glamping domes are not the biggest weโ€™ve seen. They are approximately 12 feet in diameter, so theyโ€™re designed for something a little smaller than family vacations (there are plenty of other glamping destinations for families). This is the place for you if youโ€™re looking for an adventurous couplesโ€™ retreat. The four domes are equipped with a comfy queen-sized bed and typical furnishings and are entirely finished with floors and windows. Itโ€™s the definition of glamping.

And to be honest, even though the domes were a little small, the comfy queen sized bed and the little porch made up for it.

If youโ€™re worried about the weather as you would while camping, donโ€™t be! The glamping domes are equipped with air conditioning and heating units and a heated blanket to keep you cozy at night. And although theyโ€™re not insulated, they do a pretty good job of keeping the temperature inside stable with the heating and air.

Interior of the Glamping Domes
The interior of the domes is well-furnished and beautiful. If you donโ€™t want to leave, I donโ€™t blame you.

One thing to note, however. The domes are not plumbed, so they donโ€™t have running water or toilets. There is a communal bathhouse with flush toilets and showers just a short walk away, but itโ€™s something to keep in mind if youโ€™re used to having those amenities during your stay. Not having a private bathroom can be a deal breaker for some glampers although some like the appeal of enjoying an outdoor shower.

Enjoy the majestic outdoors in the Great Smoky Mountains.

The best thing about these glamping domes is that they offer an unbeatable location in the Smoky Mountains with breathtaking mountain views. Youโ€™re in Sevier County, which is close enough to all the attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge if you want to venture out but far enough away to feel like youโ€™re in your little world.

There are countless hiking trails, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a short drive away. In fact, the national park cosby entrance is only around 15 minutes away for convenient access to the Great Smoky Mountains park.

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the place to be if youโ€™re looking for a nature-filled getaway. This park offers something for everyone, from easy nature walks to strenuous backcountry hikes. There are also plenty of opportunities for wildlife viewing, whether youโ€™re looking for bears, deer, or elk.

And remember the waterfalls! The park has dozens of beautiful waterfalls, each one worth a visit. The best time to visit is during the spring when the water is at its highest.

No matter what time of year you visit, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is sure to impress. So if youโ€™re looking for an unforgettable glamping experience, consider booking a stay in one of these glamping domes in the Smoky Mountains.

Dining and adventures in town.

If you need a break from the wilderness, you can head into Pigeon Forge for some adventures. Itโ€™s about an hour from the domes, but itโ€™s worth it for attractions. The whole family is sure to love it.

Pigeon Forge is best known as a center for tourism and attractions, including Dollywood โ€“ a theme park operated by entertainer Dolly Parton โ€“ and the Titanic Museum. If youโ€™re heading into town, these are some must-see attractions.

If youโ€™re a fan of shopping, Gatlinburg is the place for you. Youโ€™ll find everything from souvenir shops to high-end boutiques. So, you will find something for everyone on your shopping list.

And remember the restaurants. Gatlinburg is home to various restaurants, from casual eateries to fine dining establishments. Whether youโ€™re looking for pizza or seafood, chances are youโ€™ll find what youโ€™re looking for in Gatlinburg.

So donโ€™t focus solely on the outdoors; thereโ€™s plenty to do and see in the area.
